North County Banks Board of Directors

We are proud to have such a dedicated group Board of Directors that is composed of local business and civic leaders:

Gordon E. Bjorg, Sr., became a Director of the Bank in February 2007. Gordon is the owner/president of Roy Robinson, Inc., DBA Roy Robinson Chevrolet-Subaru & Motorhome Center in Marysville and Windsor Beach Storage and Bjorg Properties, Inc. in Lake Havasu, AZ. He is active in the Marysville community, including being a major sponsor of the Everett Silvertips, the Marysville Strawberry Festival, Providence Hospital Foundation’s Annual Holiday event, and the Marysville Police and Fire Departments. He has traveled to Guatemala with Rotary to aide in their Hands for Peacemaking and is president-elect of the Marysville Rotary Club. He is currently an active member of the Greater Marysville-Tulalip Chamber of Commerce, Washington State Auto Dealers Association, Puget Sound Auto Dealers Association, and several business organizations. Most recently he received national recognition for his work with the Buckle Up program of Safe Kids Worldwide.

Andrea L. Hudson is a Director and Founder of the Bank. Andi is a native of Marysville where she and her husband reside. She is the business manager for her husband's dental practice. She is active in a variety of community activities, including offering community dental services for non-profit organizations. Andi worked in the grocery business for 15 years, including serving as Store Manager for Haggen's Top Foods in both their Everett and Alderwood locations.

Harvey R. Jubie is a Director and Founder of the Bank. Harv has owned and operated Jubie Construction, a general contracting company in Marysville, for more than 30 years. A lifelong resident of Everett and Marysville, he began his career as an electrician prior to founding his contracting and development company. He is active in the Marysville community, Past President of the Marysville Noon Rotary Club and Chairman of the Marysville YMCA.

Cliff W. Henning is a Director and Founder of the Bank. Mr. Henning owns and operates a dairy farm in Stanwood, which has been operated by his family for more than 50 years. He is an active member and Past State President of several prominent agricultural organizations. Cliff served on the Stanwood School Board for 13 years. He is a life member of the Stanwood Activities, Athletics and Academics Booster Club. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University.

Ronald R. Huitger, DVM is a Director and Founder of the Bank. Ron owns and operates Smokey Point Animal Hospital, devoted to small animal veterinary practice. He began the practice in 1980 as one of the original businesses in the Smokey Point community. Ron has been actively involved in community organizations including the Board of the Smokey Point Area Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Marysville YMCA and Immaculate Conception Church in Arlington.

Luther D. Jonson is the Chairman of the Board and a Founder of the Bank. Lou retired as the Chief Operating Officer of Millstone Coffee, Everett, Washington, in 1995, upon sale of the company. A native of Stanwood, he graduated from the University of Washington. Lou is currently a Director of Java Trading Co. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation, the Stanwood Youth for Christ and the Stanwood Vocational - Technical Advisory Board. Lou is a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Stanwood. He is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

John M. Myles III is President and CEO and a Director of the Bank, having joined North County Bank in October of 2000. Jack has over twenty-seven years of lending, marketing, planning, management and credit administration experience in banking. He is a graduate of Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and received an MBA from the University of Washington. After a five-year stint with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, he joined Fremont First National Bank in Seattle in 1994 as a senior loan officer and was senior credit officer and acting president there before moving to Viking Community Bank in Ballard as its chief credit officer. Jack is a past director of the Ballard Chamber of Commerce.

Lisa M. Olander is a Director and Founder of the Bank. Lisa is a Certified Public Account operating her own practice in Smokey Point. She had been affiliated with another accounting firm in the Smokey Point area for over 11 years prior to starting her own business. Lisa was born, raised and still lives in the Arlington area. Her activities include serving as a Director of the Smokey Point Area Chamber of Commerce, a Director of Our Savior's Lutheran Church Day Care, and a teacher's aid volunteer at Eagle Creek Elementary School. Lisa is a graduate of Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.

Ralph V. Schapler is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and a Founder of the Bank. Ralph, now retired, was a banker for over 40 years. He was the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Savings Bank in Lynnwood, Washington until the sale of the bank in 1993. Prior to joining Pioneer in 1976, Ralph was a Director and Senior Vice President of a commercial bank. Ralph is a Past President and Director of the Seattle Savings League and Past President of the Snohomish County Economic Development Council. He graduated with a degree in Business and Economics from Linfield College and earned graduate degrees from the Pacific Coast Banking School and Columbia University Graduate School of Banking Management.
